Employers should  ensure they are compliant with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Medicare secondary payer

(MSP), and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) requirements as not to run the risk of being assessed these increased penalties.

Although these penalties have been in existence since 2015, the adjusted values can add  up quickly and  provide a strong incentive for compliance. To learn more  about how the adjustments may impact  your organization, reach  out to your OneDigital consultant.
